• Get an initial screening done to short-list the suitable candidates for the final interview
• Prepare a list of questions to ask
• Review the candidates resume beforehand to fire questions accordingly
• Be prepared to answer applicants questions
• Be prepared to negotiate salary with the selected candidate
• Try to read the body language signs of the applicant, to be able to understand what is not being said
• Do not talk too much, let the candidate do the talking or else this would hinder your information collection procedure
• Take notes, document candidates responses as you will be interviewing many applicants so it’s better to take down notations rather than rely on memory
